About Laura Knab

Laura Knab Silwani has been licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio since February 2017. After earning her BA in Political Science from Miami University in 2011, Laura spent a year with AmeriCorps helping high school students navigate the college admissions and financial aid process. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and attained her Juris Doctorate in 2015.

While at Pitt Law, Laura gathered experience in various areas of the law. She was a certified legal intern with Elder Law Clinic, interned at an e-discovery firm, and was a law clerk for an employment law firm representing plaintiffs. After graduation, Laura worked as an admissions recruiter for Pitt Law. She most recently worked in estate planning. Laura joined Loughry, Buell & Sipe as an Associate Attorney in June 2019.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and taking advantage of Marietta’s hiking trails.
